I don't know how many of our visitors pay any attention to the going ons in Sudan (and other atrocities in Africa) but I figured I would link to this Op-Ed piece that is co-written by the only republican I actually like. (John McCain, though, I suppose Mike DeWine is a decent guy too)

Yesterday, there was a big political hoohah over the fact that the Republicans delayed a vote on veterans health just so John Kerry would miss a day on the campaign trail. What's NOT getting any attention is that when they finally did vote yesterday, the Republicans voted AGAINST giving every US veteran prescription drug and health coverage. Republicans are voting AGAINST veterans health care!
