A Vice Presidential Nomination!
A lot of people had a sneaking suspicion over the weekend that, for some reason, it was going to be Mr. Dick Gephardt... something about a midnight rendezvous at Madeline Albright's house... but it turns out that that was a lot of hooey. So John Edwards is the democratic nominee for the VP slot. Now I just hope that the supporters of Howard Dean do not try that silly floor battle idea that has been floating around in order to get Dean the VP slot. That would just be silly. Well, in the grand tradition of things, headlines!
